ACLU Annual Chapter Election Event

The Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Chapter of the ACLU is having their having their Annual Chapter Election Event on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2850 Foothill Blvd., Redding, CA. The meeting will feature a presentation by newly appointed Shasta County District Attorney, Stephanie Bridgett. She will also take questions from the audience.

From protecting our immigrant neighbors to making progress on bail reform, last year was a good year for civil liberties in California. Of course, their work is never done. This will be a great opportunity to hear about our chapter’s advocacy and learn how to plug into ACLU campaigns that will impact national issues through local action in 2018.

Chapter board elections are a great place to meet new and returning chapter board members, learn more about the work of your local chapter, and learn ways in which you can get involved and support that work.
