Homeless Art Project Fall Session Art Show

Shasta County Arts Council is having a reception on Friday, November 3, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. for opening of the Homeless Art Project Fall Session Art Show at Old City Hall, 1313 Market Street, Redding, CA.

Experience the art, poetry and stories created by Redding homeless from the HAP Project.

The guiding artists have been Howard (Luke) Lucas, Jessica Willis, Jim Canter, Judith King, Chuck Prudhomme, Mary Lou Schmidt, Charlene Koenig and Kai Kong.

The show will run November 3rd through December 22nd. The Gallery is open from noon- 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and from noon – 6 p.m. on Fridays. It is closed on the weekend and on Mondays.

Plan to spend some time to read the engaging stories of people who find themselves without shelter and explore our common humanity expressed in photographs, charcoal portraits and mural artwork. A must see for everyone in Redding CA.
