LGBTQ+ Pride Week

NorCal OUTreach Project is hosting Light It Up With Pride! Walk the Sundial Bridge in Rainbow! on Saturday & Sunday, September 16 & 17, 2017 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay.

The Sundial Bridge will be lit in rainbow colors Saturday and Sunday to kick off Redding LGBTQ+ Pride Week! The lights will begin to come on at dusk. Sunset is approximately 7:15 p.m., and the rainbow is expected to be in full bloom by 8 p.m. This is a FREE and family friendly event.

The Redding Pride Committee, hopes you will join them “for an evening walk along this iconic Redding landmark… to feel a part of our City, as well as feel a sense of pride and acceptance.”

A booth will be set up at both the North and South ends of the bridge, and volunteers will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the bridge lighting, Redding Pride Week events, or the NorCal OUTreach LGBTQ+ Center, 1708 Placer Street, Redding CA. LGBTQ+ Center in Redding and has organized the local Pride events for the past 7 years.

The  Redding Lgbtq+ Pride Festival 2017 will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Sculpture Park, 777 Cypress Ave, Redding, CA. All ages are invited. A $5-$10 donation is suggested, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. All donations go to support future Pride events and the mission of NorCal OUTreach Project (501c3).
