Symphony on the Beach

Shasta Symphony Orchestra is presenting their third annual Symphony on the Beach at Brandy Creek Beach in Whiskeytown National Recreation Area on August 26, 2017 from 7:30-9 p.m.

The show will feature film scores, patriotic music, soloists, and light classical works and will help kick off the school year with one last blast of summer fun.

Parking is extremely limited. Please carpool and come early!

“The Shasta Symphony Orchestra was originally founded in 1950. The Shasta Symphony merged with the Simpson Sinfonia Orchestra in 2010, and Dr. Dwayne Corbin was selected to be the conductor and music director. The name of “The Shasta Symphony” was retained because of the regional significance of the word “Shasta” and because of our mission to reach the players and audience of Shasta County.”
