Sundae Serenade

All Saints Episcopal Church is presenting Sundae Serenade, a nostalgic evening of music, dancing & ice cream sundaes, on Saturday July 15, 2017 from  7-9:30 p.m. at  2150 Benton Dr. Redding CA.

The evening event will feature  live big band era music and dancing with Lou White & The Band and guest artist Linda Bott.

Linda was blessed with a naturally beautiful voice. As a young child in Sacramento, Linda Snook sang along with all the greats in her parent’s record collection: Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughn, Eydie Gorme, Perry Como and Andy Williams. Linda continues to beguile live audiences with her sultry performances, injected with just the right amount of playful wit, the voice now an instrument mastered, the style clearly her own.

The evening includes dance performances by The Redding Arts Project Dancers (RAP). These dancers are students of the Redding Arts Project school of theatre and dance. The RAP offers instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Swing, Salsa, Musical Theatre, and more. TheRAP is also the official training school of Redding City Ballet Company, which will present The Nutcracker on December 5 and 6, 2017 at the Cascade Theatre, and Redding Theatre Company, which will present The Wizard of Ozon July 22, 2017.

Tickets are available online, in person, or from the church office (530) 243-1000. Ticket prices are: Children under 2-years-old are free. Adult 18-59 $35; Youth 2-17 $15; Senior 60+ $30. Proceeds go towards the renovation of All Saints’ Memorial Hall, one of the community outreach buildings.
