World Refuge Day

The world is facing the largest refugee crisis since World War II, with nearly 60 million individuals globally forcibly displaced from their homes because of persecution and violence.

June 20th is World Refugee Day. The United Nations, in its 1951 Convention, sets out fundamental concepts for international refugee protection

On September 19, 2016 the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted a set of commitments to enhance the protection of refugees and migrants. These commitments are known as the New York Declaration on Refugees and Migrants.
