John McCutcheon at Pilgrim

Oaksong Society For Preservation of Way Cool Music is presenting John McCutcheon on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 8 p.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2580 Foothill Blvd., Redding, CA.

Lighting up the Oaksong Music Society’s stages in 2010, 2012 and 2014, John McCutcheon has become the most-requested musician in the Oaksong Music Society’s lineup. John was set to return last year, when a medical condition forced the show to be cancelled. However, he is now set to return for the first show of 2017.

McCutcheon is “fold music’s renaissance man” – a master instrumentalist, powerful singer-songwriter, storyteller, activist and author.

Tickets are $25, available online and at the Music Connection in Redding, 530-223-2040.

Oaksong is a group of music-loving volunteers dedicated to promoting, presenting and preserving all genres of music in Shasta County, California. They are a 501c3 non-profit organization and members of The Folk Alliance International.
