Shasta County is having the North State’s first Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. at the Redding Civic Auditorium, 700 Auditorium Drive, Redding, CA.
The Faire, hosted by Turtle Bay, is a chance for our North State California counties to celebrate its local makers. It is a family-friendly event that celebrates the creativity of individuals, students, educators, innovators, and businesses in the community.
Mini Maker Faire allows creators to showcase their work to the community, while the public comes to enjoy interactive experiences, connect with like-minded people, and be inspired. Maker Faire supports passionate innovation, collaboration, and hands-on doing as a way of experiencing the world.
Shasta County Mini Maker Faire will offer workshops on many interesting topics. Come learn about Raspberry Pi and Arduino microcontrollers and what they can do for you.
Tickets for children and college students with ID are FREE. Must have ticket to enter.
