Art in the City Autumn 2016 Exhibit

Redding’s 2016 Art in the City Autumn Exhibit will be displayed in City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding CA and the Redding Library, 1100 Parkview Avenue, September 7, 2016 through January 6, 2016 during normal business hours.

The artwork featured at City Hall will include pieces by Linda McGinnis, Janice Peterson, Patricia Cook, Betsy Spencer Judge, and student submissions by Redding School of the Arts. A special exhibit by Eileen Born will be featured at City Hall and on display at the Redding Library.

A Reception for the Artists will be held at Redding City Hall on Friday, September 23, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. In addition to appetizers and refreshments, live music will be provided by the North State Songwriters.

Two musical acts will take the stage during the Reception. Still Married performs original acoustic tunes that celebrate the landscape, the characters and the independent spirit of Far Northern California. Cruz Slaughter creates a combination of soft rock through his use of melodic instrumentals accompanied by his low-tone vocals.
