Dignity Health & Trilogy Architecture have joined forces with FPAE (the Foundation for Promoting Arts Education) to bring Grammy-Award® winning and multi-platinum selling recording artist George Winston. Trilogy Architect, James Theimer, has inspired/challenged the Redding Community to a match fund. Mr. Theimer has agreed to match dollar for dollar (up to $30,000) of funds donated towards the benefit.
George Winston, one of the most recognized solo pianists in the world, has released 13 solo piano albums since 1972. Winston won his first Grammy Award for Best New Age Album, Forests, in 1995. He released his latest solo piano album in 2012, Gulf Coast Blues & Impressions 2. He is currently touring and performing live concerts.
Since 1986, George has been raising money for food banks and service organizations and will continue to do so by working with a local food bank in every tour market to hold a CANNED FOOD DRIVE at the show. At this show he will work with The Good News Rescue Mission and One Safe Place.
Winston has agreed to perform in support of FPAE (the Foundation for Promoting Arts Education). FPAE, a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to raising funds for arts education and is actively building a sustainable state-of-the-art performing Arts Center, which will serve to educate north state school children and our community in aspects of theater and arts.
This is an amazing opportunity to see George Winston Live and support children and families in the North State.
