Cultivating Sustainable Communities

Sadhana Forest Presentation

The Euphrates Institute, Redding Chapter is co-sponsoring a multimedia presentation Cultivating Sustainable Communities Through Ecological Restoration by Israeli environmentalist Aviram Rozin on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 1825 East Street, Redding, CA.

The presentation will explore how human diversity affects the resilience of societies and in turn, how societies affect the biodiversity of nature.

Aviram Rozin is co-founder and Director of Sadhana Forest and lives in a sustainable community in Kenya he designed. Sadhana Forest won the third place in the Humanitarian Water and Food Award (WAF) 2010.

The monthly Euphrates Institute meeting will be held on Friday July 1, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2850 Foothill Blvd., Redding CA. They will discuss Richard Forer’s book Breakthrough: Transforming Fear into Compassion – A New Perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.
