Bringing It Home


On Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Beloved Community is showing the documentary film Bringing It Home in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church 1825 East Street, Redding CA.

This film by Linda Booker and Blaire Johnson chronicles a father’s search to find the healthiest building materials for his family’s home which led to the first 100% industrial hemp home built in the US.

They will also be watching Regrarianism: Re-booting Agriculture for the Next 10,000 Years, a short Bioneers video with Darren Doherty, one of the world’s most brilliant and accomplished Regenerative Agriculture practitioners who has worked on thousands of projects on five continents. Mr. Doherty will describe how “Regrarianism” can reverse the ecological destruction of large-scale modern agriculture and usher in a new regenerative future for our food systems.  Total: 1hr. 12mins.
