North Valley Art League 2016 International Juried Photography Show


North Valley Art League has issued a call to artists for the 2016 International Juried Photography Show, “Photography:  The Full Spectrum,” which will run from May 3 – June 4, 2016 at the Carter House Gallery, Redding, CA.

The 2016 show entry period is now open through Wednesday, March 9, 2016.  The show is open to all photographers and all forms of photographic expression are encouraged, except mages previously accepted into a NVAL International Juried Photography Show are not eligible. A total of 140 images will be selected. Total awards are $3250 –  First Place $1500; Second Place 2 at $500; Third Place, 3 at $250.

Juror will be Jack Fulton, Professor Emeritus, San Francisco Art Institute. Jack has been involved with photography as a fine art since 1965. He has taught in the Photography Department of the San Francisco Art Institute from 1969 to 2013 and was Chair of the Department for approximately half that period. The North Valley Art League is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the visual arts in the northern California region.  Your entry fees cover prize money and show expenses.  Any remaining monies will help fund the operating expenses of the NVAL Carter House Gallery.
