The Redding Area Homelessness Coalition Project will discuss the next steps for turning the tide on homelessness in our community on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Red Lion Hotel’s Cascade Room, 1830 Hilltop Dr, Redding, CA.

This meeting is an opportunity to address key issues, including:

  • What is the status of homelessness in Shasta County and what is currently being done?
  • What can further reduce the impact homelessness is having on our community?
  • What are the next steps?
  • How can community stakeholders get involved?

Phase 1 Reports and Recommendations developed by technical assistance providers HomeBase and Symmetric Solutions will be presented. The Reports are independent objective evaluations of the Redding Shasta Homeless Continuum of Care and Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data collection system. They also include community feedback and stakeholder input. The Reports present targeted strategies for strengthening the Redding/Shasta County homeless response to make meaningful progress toward addressing homelessness.

The RAHCP event will be recorded by Shasta Community Access Channel. Dates and times it will air on Charter, Channel 181 TBD.
