Sundial Film Festival 2015


The Sundial Film & Photography Festival is being held at the Cascade Theatre, 1733 Market Street, Redding CA, this Saturday, March 14, 2015 with the day show from 1-4 PM (student/animated/assorted films) and the evening show from 7-10 PM (premier film show). Tickets at $7.50 for the day show and $15.00 for the evening show are available online.

Organized and presented by the Active 20-30 Club of Redding Foundation, The Sundial Film Festival, in its 7th year. The Festival showcases the talent and diversity of filmmakers and photographers at the beautifully restored Cascade Theater in Redding, California. Film submissions are required to be less than 30 minutes in length and can be of any genre or style. Photography submissions are split in Novice and Advanced skill levels and feature Fine Art, Still Life, and Action as the categories. All entries will be judged for creativity, quality, and originality by a diverse jury comprised of by independent juries selected by the Sundial Film Festival organizers, comprising filmmakers, photographers, critics, educators, and interested others.

  • Best One Minute Move: Lukey Loves Me
  • Runner up Narrative: Mud Sandwich
  • Runner up Documentary: Riding on Thin Air
  • Runner up Animation: The Fallen Phoenix

The Active 20-30 Club of Redding Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization and the philanthropic arm created by the Active 20-30 Club of Redding, a local service organization with the sole purpose of serving the Redding community’s greatest asset – our local children.
