Interested in water issues ? Then attend the next Earth Water Climate Series on October 19, 2014 at 1 PM at the Redding Library.
Early in 2014, an alliance of North state residents from different backgrounds with a variety of environmental concerns met to discuss ways to engage our community. From this conversation, it was decided to organize informative public meetings highlighting specific topics important to our area.
The Earth Water Climate Series offers public conversations about important state and local issues including Water, Climate, Forestry, Population, and Our Economy.
The October 4th presentation included Bruce Ross, Assemblyman Dahle’s District Director, discussing the Water Bond on the November Ballot and Barbara Hennigan, Exc. Director of the Butte-Sutter Basin Area Groundwater Users who discussed history of groundwater use and current state legislation.
