The United Nations Climate Summit 2014 is September 23, 2014. “UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has invited world leaders, from government, finance, business, and civil society to Climate Summit 2014… to galvanize and catalyze climate action. He has asked these leaders to bring bold announcements and actions to the Summit that will reduce emissions, strengthen climate resilience, and mobilize political will for a meaningful legal agreement in 2015.” President Obama will be at the UN General Assembly this week to discuss ISIS, ebola and climate change.
The People’s Climate March drew 300-400,000 participants on Sunday, March 21, 2014 in New York City. Monday also drew crowds to Wall Street as reported on Twitter #PeopleClimateMarch, #Converge4Climate, #FloodWallStreet and #OurClimate.
