Just one year ago I had successful cardiac surgery at Mercy Hospital in Redding, CA, with outstanding follow-up cardiac rehabilitation services, so I have a special interest in supporting Mercy Foundation North and attending their Mod & Magical Holiday Party on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 7 to 10 PM at Turtle Bay Museum. I hope you too won’t want to miss this fun kick-off to the holiday season!
Dance the night away to music from our favorite party band “Clear Cut.” Reminisce with great dance tunes from each decade, from 60’s hits to today’s popular music.
Exquisite cuisine will be provided by Executive Chef Wesley Matthews from Market Street Steakhouse. Guests will have the opportunity to sip a signature martini drink created just for this magical evening, or other signature beverages reminiscent of the era.
And the highlight of the evening – a festive retro atmosphere at beautiful Turtle Bay Museum will showcase magnificent designer Christmas trees decorated by talented local artists to set the holiday mood!
Skinny ties, pillbox hats, Dad’s fedora, or Mom’s pearls and gloves will be perfect for those guests who want to dress “Mad Men” style!
Proceeds will benefit Cardiac Rehabilitation Services at Mercy Medical Center Redding. The cardiac rehab program helps patients with serious heart conditions return to a healthy lifestyle by providing medication management, exercise programs, education, and emotional support.
To order tickets click the green “Donate Online” button at the top of their webpage; on the second page you need to designate “Mod & Magical” to pay for your tickets online. In lieu of a live or silent auction, a money tree will be available for contributions.
