Viva Downtown Redding, Downtown Redding Business Association, sponsor organizations and civic leaders (including City Council member Missy McArthur and City Manager Kurt Starman), honored several people and groups for their contribution to the positive state of downtown Redding, CA last evening at the Cascade Theatre:

Viva Downtown Redding is a National Main Street Organization dedicated to enhancing the social, cultural and economic development of Downtown Redding.

Interesting presentations were also given by: Sally Mawbry, Viva Downtown Design Committee Chair; John Truit, VIVA director; Ronda Ball, DRBA and VIVA board member;  Kenny Breedlove, President of the DRBA; Larry Morgon, Riverfront Playhouse; and Debra Lucero, Shasta County Arts Council.
