Inviting the Sacred is an special evening honoring A Season for Peace & Nonviolence, being held at the Center for Spiritual Living, 1905 Hartnell Ave, Redding, CA on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 7:00-8:30 PM.

The event will be presented by Rev. Lynn E. Fritz and co-sponsored by Center for Spiritual Living and the Shasta County Interfaith Forum will include:

• Ritual & Music from Diverse Spiritual Traditions
• Sikh chanting
• Sacred movement
• Islamic call to prayer
• Interfaith Choir
• Science of Mind & An Ancient Singing Crystal Bowl
• Native American flute and drum ceremony
• Christian music & prayer

All are invited to join the interfaith choir as they sing two songs for this event: When I Pray and What a Wonderful World. Chris Johnson is choir director and Judy Preble is accompanist. Choir rehearsal is every Thursday at 7 -7:30 PM from now til the event at the Center for Spiritual Living. Choir participants are to arrive at 6 PM the night of the event and meet in Social Hall for prayer, last minute details.
