Project Homeless Connect is a one-stop, annual gathering for delivering services to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Redding, CA. It will occur on May 22, 2012 at the Redding Convention Center. It is organized by Northern California Catholic Social Services.
Once a year service providers, businesses, citizens, and faith congregations come together to bring multiple resources to one central location where people can come to access the services they need. These services include:
There are already 181 volunteers signed up so act fast to sign up on Eventbrite, before the 200 quota is reached. Training for volunteers will be held on May 9, 2012 at 4 PM or May 10, 2012 at 8 AM at Northern Valley Catholic Social Service, 2400 Washington St., Redding, CA.
You may also sign up for donations of personal hygiene items, which will need to be collected no later than Friday, May 11, 2012
