Imagine a World Without Free Knowledge

Wikipedia, Google and more than 7,000 website stood in solidarity against SOPA and PIPA and blacked out their sites earlier this week.

Simply put, SOPA is censorship, but the biggest point is that it is the old guard vs. the innovators. Even Harvard Business Review Network blog says, “SOPA is a legislative attempt by big companies with vested interests to protect their downside.¬†And unfortunately, these companies have conscripted Congress to help them.” This is a fight between Hollywood and Silicon Valley, but freedom of information is at stake.
