Redding School of the Arts will hold it’s Scholastic Book Fair December 8-14, 2011.  Save your holiday Book Buying until their fair.  There are 1,000′s of titles to choose from – perfect for all of your family and friends.  Fliers and previews will start coming home with students November 28th, and they’ll even have a special preview night Wednesday, December 7, 2011.  Everything you purchase will go towards our $3,000 goal!  When we hit our goal, their library gets to keep 50%!!  Wow!  That will buy a LOT of books!

Redding School of the Arts, located at 955 Inspiration Place, Redding, CA 96003, is a charter school in northern California. The school believes when it comes to young minds, art enriches, expands and prepares them for a full life in useful and unexpected ways. Children who participate in music and arts programs often do better in other subjects than children who do not, and low achieving students engaged in a visual and performing arts program have better attendance, increased self-esteem, and cooperate more fully with teachers and peers.

Admission to the school is by application and lottery.
